It’s time to dispel the myths and end the stigma.

From the time we begin puberty, girls and young women are told that period pain, discomfort, and moodiness are all just part of being a woman. We are expected to accept that our quality of life is going to be less than because we are women.

We should be used to it by now. We should just deal with it.

What if I told you that this was all wrong? That this is simply a myth constructed out of a lack of knowledge and understanding of a woman’s body?

What if I told you that you have the power to take control of your body, and you don’t have to live in misery during certain times of the month?

Luna Wellness was founded on personal experience with difficult, miserable periods, later culminating in a diagnosis of PMDD. The overarching goal of Luna Wellness is to equip girls and women with what we have been lacking for decades — education about menstrual health. Armed with this information, we have the power to understand and love our bodies and work in harmony with them to feel our best no matter where we are in our cycles.

    The last step? We learn how to continually refine what we’ve learned. Think of this as your new beginning, where you step into your power to partner with your body so that you can feel your absolute best.
